L'attache de la chêvre (dames)
Cette discipline réservée aux dames demande une forme physique presqu'athlétique. Une chêvre est attachée à un sac de sable à l'extrémité du manège. La cavalière doit faire galoper sa monture vers la chêvre, descendre de cheval, renverser la chêvre et lui attacher trois pattes en croisée avec une corde. Après, elle s'éloigne et le juge attend cinq secondes pour confirmer la validité de l'attache. Certaines cowgirls plus audacieuses descendent de leur monture sans exiger l'arrêt de celle-ci.
La vitesse et l'habilité des cavalières constitue les atouts importants de cette discipline.
Goat Tying (women)
This discipline is reserved for women with an atlhetic form. A goat is attached to a sandbag at the end of the ring. The rider has to ride his mount to the goat, jump off the horse, turn the goat on it's side, and tie up three legs of the goat with a rope. After she walks away and the judge waits 5 seconds to confirm the solidity of the tie. Some daring cowgirl, do not wait for their horse to stop, and jump off.
The speed and hability of the cowgirl is very important in this discipline.
